Relevance of the pharmacoeconomic evaluation of the pharmacotherapy of polyneuropathies of upper and lower limbs of workers of the coal industry at the stationary level

Analytical review of sources of scientific information and analysis of drug therapy based on the medical histories of patients in the occupational pathology Department of the hospital indicate that the scientific justification for the development of a unified system of interrelated assessments, quality indicators and economic characteristics of medical and medicinal care requires the establishment of scientifically based approaches to their nomenclature and volume. Among occupational diseases, a significant share is occupied by pathology of the musculoskeletal system, caused by overstrain and microtavmatization of organs and systems. It is established that occupational diseases are directly related to early diagnosis and treatment and prevention measures, and one of the most important measures is their early detection during preventive medical examinations. In recent years, pharmacoeconomics research has emerged as a serious scientific field with its own methodology and appropriate tools. In this regard, pharmacoeconomical assessment of patient treatment technology becomes an important source of information that helps in making managerial decisions in healthcare. For managers of pharmacies in medical organizations, one of the most important tasks is the rational formation and effective use of the range of medicines for the treatment of inpatient patients. The optimal solution to this problem depends on many factors, among which the volume of financial resources of medical organizations and the prevalence of certain diseases are of primary importance.
